Alchevsk

Formerly (1931–61)  Voroshilovsk , or (1961–92)  Kommunarsk  city, Luhansk oblast (province), eastern Ukraine. It lies along the railway from Luhansk to Debaltsevo. Alchevsk was founded in 1895 with the establishment of the Donetsko-Yuryevsky ironworks.
